Caracteristicas: El reggaetón es un estilo popular entre los jóvenes de muchos países de América Latina, en especial de los países caribeños, siendo fácil de bailar y provocando movimientos muy sensuales. Líneas de bajo y un ritmo repetitivo (casi clónico en todas sus canciones) es característico en el reggaetón. Tiene una sincronización característica por la cual se guían la mayoría de las canciones, dando una referencia fácil para el baile. El ritmo es una variación de las líneas rítmicas del dancehall reggae jamaicano, que a mediados de los ochenta fusionaba rítmicas inspiradas en el funk, creando así ritmos fuertes y bailables. El reggaetón se suele asociar a una forma de bailar muy “sensual” y provocativa, con los cuerpos muy pegados, llamada a veces perreo.
